Healing Anxiety in Business: An Early Break in the Mother/Child Bond

We may think that time heals all wounds, but unprocessed emotions will pop up in sometimes sneaky ways and it hard to know where they are coming from and they will keep popping up until we deal with them.

I’ve been on my healing journey for a long time. I’ve been on it since the day I was born. I’ve never truly felt safe or supported here on Earth in my body. I love the Earth and all it’s creatures, but it was a feeling I just couldn’t ignore.  I consciously decided to start healing when I was 20 years old. I was tired of feeling anxious, I was tired of being depressed, and I was tired of trying to put band aids on these things with medications, self-medicating, sex, and alcohol. I knew there was a better way, there had to be. That’s when I was introduced to yoga, meditation, energy healing and a world where I felt like I was home. I had returned home and the feeling of being unsafe started to go away.

A New Adventure

Then, in 2018, I remember when to started to get the calls to start my coaching business. It felt like the answer, to be able to have a career that was totally aligned with my desired lifestyle and one where I could teach and help others in way that was aligned with my values. I desired to live a life with more freedom, a life in alignment with my soul.

In many ways, this was the answer to a huge problem I had feeling totally out of place in the working world. It was also the path to even deeper healing for me. I have always been in love with what I do, but putting myself out there in the world with my business was new territory that I had never tread across. I could feel my feelings of feeling unsafe in this world come up on a whole new level.

I remembered how I had healed my anxiety before and a huge piece was looking at my family and childhood trauma. I went back there with a different perspective. It became clear to me where I needed to heal. Through subconscious healing work around this in hypnosis, a memory came up.

Healing with Hypnosis

When I was born, I was choking on fluid from my mother’s womb. I almost died, but because of modern technology and medicine, I was able to get the help I needed to make it into this world and live. I was immediately rushed to another hospital and taken from my mother in order to survive. I had to stay in the hospital for weeks. This early break of the bond with my mother effected my ability to feel secure. It even effected my ability to feel financially vital and supported. It happened at such a young age that I didn’t have the memory to recall upon in my conscious mind. It was just a bunch of feelings and emotions that where hard to identify where they were coming from.

I knew I had found the root because when I went back there in hypnosis, I cried deeply. I held that precious little baby and I held myself. I let her know that I would never leave her alone and that she is safe and supported. “I’m so sorry little one, you are safe, you are held, you are loved, protected and guided.”

I went back to my moment of birth and watched it from a new perspective, what I call the “bird’s eye view.” I saw and felt details that I could not consciously remember. There was some physical pain that needed to be releases, I could physically feel the tube that went down my throat to help me breathe and felt a pain in the side of my belly. Then, I saw that I was loved and I was held. I was prayed for and I had angels by my side. I could feel them and see them, holding me. I knew I would make it through and they were assuring me. Someone even let me hold their finger on the helicopter ride.

I saw how truly support I was in those moments. I know now that I am here for a reason, I have work to do and I intend to do it.  I feel both safe and supported. I was a miracle. I was a pure, innocent, magical baby. The truth is, we are all miracles. We are all pure, innocent, magical babies that grew up.

Unresolved traumatic events in our lives and families can hinder how success flows to us and how we receive it.

When books, programs, coaches have been unhelpful, when prescribed plans and strategies such as developing effective habits, expanding your social network, visualizing your future success, and repeating money affirmations that are supposed to help you prosper have never seem to help you achieve your goals no matter what you do of which plan you follow, then the key may be in hidden unresolved trauma from this lifetime, a past lifetime, or in our family history.

A Letter to the Spiritual Entrepreneur Who Wants to Go Full Time in Their Business

I have been in my business full time for over a year now. Before that I was on and off with side jobs, temporary full time jobs, and all I wanted was to be full time in my business. I am even a little reluctant to say I’m full time in my business because that gives the impression that I work full time hours and I don’t.

Some of my clients come to be because they want to be “full time” in their businesses too. They want to let go of the unaligned or unfulfilling job and they want to live their passion.

Time and fear, those were my biggest blocks and the blocks I see most common with others in this position. We are caught in a battle of having the time to do all the things we want to in our businesses with a full time or even part time job and the fears that pop up around wondering if you can really sustain yourself and flourish with your business.

The Time Paradox

I know it seems like there is so much to do and there will be time for it all my dear. Right now though, focus on a few aligned strategies that are money making and effective and also aligned to you. By aligned I mean strategies that work with your time, your energy, and your values.

I only work a few hours a day in my business, and then I also work on my business a few hours a day, and not every day. I do this because I started my business for time freedom. I spend the rest of my day playing, engaging in self care and spiritual practices. This helps my business as well, so it is not something I would change. I do struggle with the occasional work burn out that comes from diving so deep into our work and it’s filled with passion, so it can be sneaky. I have gotten better at catching this pattern and have learned to do more with less. I have also learned that there is always time, there will always be time, we just can’t do everything all at once.

You can meet your goal of going all in on your business working only a couple hours a week. It just depends on where your focus is. At first I spent countless hours trying to do all the things, but it wasn’t effective. So, I focused on the few things that worked. Now I do all the things, I have my FB, my IG, this blog, an email list, a Facebook group, I’m on Pinterest and YouTube. I am all over the place, but I wasn’t in the beginning. I started with my FB page and a FB group.

Walking Through Fear

Those fears that pop up around wondering if you can really sustain yourself and flourish with your business. I know, I have been there and to be honest, I still feel the fear sometimes. What helps me is diving into my spirituality and into my trust in spirit. Looking back, I can see that I have always been divinely supported and so are you, so why should that stop? I believe I am always being divinely guided. So, it’s about turning down the noise of fear and connecting with your mission, your intuition, and your inner callings.

Healing from Judgement

Healing is a returning home, of feeling wholeness. Sometimes, it means retrieving parts of yourself that were lost in trauma or emotional events.

I feel like this last week I have had numerous opportunities for healing pop up and I took the time to heal. I am sharing two of these experiences with you so you can know that self-healing is possible and hopefully from hearing my story you will gain some healing yourself.

Last week, a song came on the radio that reminded me of time in middle school I had almost forgotten when I was bullied about my looks. I got teased a lot of being tall, for dressing differently, for liking different TV shows.

Then, a couple days later I noticed a tightness in my solar plexus. I had been feeling a block arise that I thought I had healed before, the fear of judgement from others. New level, same devil, different clothes.

I used some subconscious mind techniques to get to the root of the feeling. It was interesting what popped up, another memory I had almost forgotten. When I was 14 and going through the court case tied to my sexual abuse, there was a hearing before the trail. The courthouse was packed and my mom, dad, our paralegal and I only had one place to sit. I remember having this same feeling sitting there waiting for our turn. I remember realizing that we were sitting right next to the mom and dad of my abuser, something our paralegal said was not supposed to happen, and the feeling got more intense. I just knew they hated me and I felt judged the whole time.

In both cases, I allowed the feelings to come up and I allowed myself to feel them, and sent them love. When memories or emotions arise, it is an opportunity to heal. When you have the tools for self healing you can take the opportunities that arise to heal in the moment.

In both cases, I didn’t run from the feelings, and once they had their say, I was able to see myself in those situations and was able to see them from a new perspective and the lessons these situations held. Then, I went back in a meditative/hypnotic state and found the parts of me that were lost in those moments, the fractured parts of my soul. I found the hurt teenager who felt judged and ridiculed for being herself and was able to comfort her and bring her back into myself, no longer denying these parts of myself that were ridiculed in the past, but embracing them.

The lesson I learned was it was their own life experiences, filters, their own lens that they see the world through that were projected on me in those moments and at some point I took them on as my own and started judging myself. I could also see that when we focus on those who reject us, we miss out on a whole lot of people who accept us completely. You get what you focus on. The next day a friend of mine told me that when you know deeply who you are, it doesn’t matter what others think. This just solidified the lesson for me.

This is just a sneak peak into the world of healing. It isn’t always pretty and it isn’t always fun but it is always powerful and a returning home to who you really are. I have not felt that feeling in my solar plexus since. I feel more at peace with who I am and sharing that.

The next time something pops up for you, try to take a closer look. Feel the feelings, send them love, and go back and imagine yourself giving yourself what you needed in that moment and reclaim yourself (and if you need support, I am always here). All healing is self-healing.

How Hypnosis Can Help You Get into Alignment to Achieve Your Goals

Why do some of us have things that we desire for years, but never achieve?

It’s because they are out of alignment. If you’re not in alignment with what you desire, you will self-sabotage or stay stuck in a battle with yourself in achieving and receiving your desires.

What do I mean by alignment?

I mean your identity is aligned with your values and beliefs, your potential and behavior, and your results are a product of that alignment (or misalignment).

Let me paint a picture in your mind. If all you want is to have your own success business, those are the results you desire. You want to make six and seven figures and have services or products that sell out. You also want to have the time and money freedom to do whatever you want, travel, buy a house, whatever it is. Most people think that you need to have the results first, then they can do the things they want and be the person they want. The fact is though that you must first BE. Then, comes the doing and then the having. This is done by alignment of the six layers of the mind.

It starts at the level of the mind called your IDENTITY. Do you identify as a successful business owner? When you say the words “I am…” in your mind, what comes after them?

Then, what are your values? Do you value structure or freedom? Do any of your values conflict with your identity, your beliefs, your behavior, or the results you desire? When there is misalignment at any level of the mind, you can expect inner conflict.

Your identity and values trickle into your beliefs and your beliefs also influence your identity and values. These three layers (identity, values, and beliefs) are at the level of being.

A layer that lays somewhere between being and doing is potential. What knowledge, information, and resources do you have available to you? Most people think they are limited by their potential, but the truth is that you have unlimited potential stored in your subconscious mind.

The next layer is behavior, which is doing. Behavior is influenced by the pervious layers of the mind and they are what create results. When we take the time to align the other layers, behavior changes. When we take the time to imagine new behaviors, we can start to change the patterns in our bodies.

Results is the last layer, and this is at the level of having. Be, do, have. You will have what is a match for the alignment of the other layers.

With a good hypnotherapist, they can help you reach and align these six layers of the mind (identity, values, beliefs, potential, behavior, and results). This is why hypnotherapy is so powerful. When in a natural, relaxed state your mind creates pictures, sounds, and symbols in response to direct suggestions and imagery from the hypnotherapist that are designed to reach and align even the deepest layers of the mind.

How to Tap Into Your Potential for Better Outcomes in Your Life (Why You Should Build Rapport with Your Subconscious Mind)

How do you change the results in your life? By changing your behavior. Can you really have different result without changing your behavior? I don’t think so. How do you change your behavior? By tapping into your potential and changing the limiting beliefs that are stored in your subconscious.

You subconscious may just be the key you’ve looking for to unlock your potential! However, you cannot unlock it unless you go within it, get to know it, and build rapport with your subconscious. That is where the changes can take place that results in huge shifts in behavior.

Take my client for example, who was running a business, but scared to speak her truth and share her true option on the hot topics buzzing around in her industry. By building rapport with her subconscious, she was able to get it on board with what she desired. After aligning her subconscious with her conscious desires, she was able to come out of her shell and feel confident and capable of speaking her truth.

What happened? She was able to attract more people to her business who shared the same opinions and values as her. She made thousands more in her business! She build rapport with her subconscious, was able to easily change her behavior, and she saw results!

Your subconscious is the part of your mind that you are not always fully aware of, but makes up about 90% of your mind. It holds every single memory you’ve ever experienced and holds the patterns and programs you run off of everyday. It influences what you say, what you do, what stories you tell yourself, the beliefs you have and feelings you have about these stories.

The life you’ve created is literally based upon your subconscious beliefs.

What if you had access to these beliefs, the ability to change them, and tap into your potential for better outcomes in your life? When you build rapport, your subconscious can be your best friend.

Here are 7 ways to build rapport and reprogram your own subconscious mind:

1️⃣ Find Out What You Really Want.
Listen to that inner voice, ask yourself why you want the things you do, and get clear on your values. Do the things you want align with your values?

2️⃣ Create a New Reality Through Visualization & Meditation.
Visualizing creates neuroplastic changes in your brain map so that you can create new thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are aligned with your desires! Even if you’re not a visual person, you can meditate with new thoughts and beliefs as mantras or you can verbally rant about your new new reality as if it’s happened to you.

3️⃣ Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind With Hypnosis

Try writing your goals down then create a vision board with images to go with!

Write out your thoughts and then reframe them.
Try responding to your thoughts from the perspective of your higher self.

7️⃣ Create Experiences that Align with Your New Reality
Want to be abundant? Do something that makes you feel that way.
Want to be more confident? Do something that is a little scary, but you know you will nail.
